Sandy’s story

In January of 2018 my staffy of 9 years named Missy passed away. We were all heart broken as it was so sudden. In March of 2018 I was put in contact with Rima (Claddagh Rescue ) by a woman named Catherine that helps rescue dogs in Cork that had found Sandy on Claddagh Rescue’s page and tagged me in it. The second I saw the picture of Sandy I knew that I had to have her.

Sandy is such a sweet, loving, energetic dog that loves to have her belly rubbed, going on long walks and run around the fields. I have always loved Bullbreed type dogs as they are so caring and friendly dogs. Sandy is also very good around kids as she lies down, rolls onto her back waiting for her belly to be rubbed when there are kids around.

Sandy also loves to give lots of kisses to new people that she meets. Bullbreed dogs are so friendly and Rima and her son doing the fantastic job of rescuing Bullbreed dogs and give them a second chance in life like they deserve.

Please don’t buy a dog, adopt one and give it a second chance in life. I know Sandy is happy to get a second chance in life after her previous owner handed her into a pound. If it wasn’t for the work Rima does beautiful Sandy might not be here with us today as of all the dogs that Claddagh Rescue have rescued and re-homed.
